Your Consumer Right of Return and Refund

Any request for the cancellation of an order must be made in writing within 14 days of receipt of the product. The effective date is either the date of the email or date of posting.  Any products received before you cancel an order must be returned within 14 days of the date you inform us of the cancellation.

In accordance with Consumer Contracts Regulation, if the value of the goods has been affected by your handling of them more than you would if you were examining them in a store and cannot be resold at full price, then we have the right to make a deduction on the value of the goods.

We are only responsible for refunding the basic delivery cost that we offer if this was charged as an extra with your original order. All products must be returned in their original packaging and condition and will be collected by ourselves or our designated carrier for which a collection fee will be charged. If the product is being returned within the cancellation period because it is faulty then no collection charge will be incurred.

Please note that any bespoke orders manufactured to your own specific requirements cannot be cancelled or returned unless faulty.

The return of mattresses or sofa beds cannot be accepted unless they are still in their original packaging and have not been opened.

Requests for the return of a product after the 14-day cancellation period will be at the discretion of Crome Interiors Ltd. If agreed the product must be in its original condition and packaging and you will be responsible for any cost incurred in returning the product to ourselves. We advise that any goods being returned to ourselves by carrier be insured by yourself unless we agree to collect the product for which a charge will be made. No refund will be made until the product is inspected by ourselves and deemed to be in its original condition.

Faulty Goods

All products must be checked on arrival and any damage reported to us within 24 hours (photographic evidence will be required). We reserve the right to inspect any products reported as faulty. Due to the fact that wood and leather are natural products Crome Interiors Ltd will not be responsible or liable for any differences in the colour/grain of these products, or any creases that appear naturally in leather or change in the colour of wood which is caused by light (natural or otherwise). All products must only be used for the purpose of their original design. You will be liable for any damage caused to the product whilst in your possession which cannot be re-sold at full price.

In accordance with The Consumers Rights Act the return of faulty products depends on how long you have owned them. If you have owned the product for up to 30 days then you may claim a full refund provided the product is unfit for purpose, of an unsatisfactory quality or not as described. From 30 days up to 6 months then we have the right to offer a repair or replacement. After 6 months we have the right to offer a repair or replacement before you can claim a partial refund and the burden of proof is on you to prove that the product is faulty.

Any refund due will be made to the card used in the original order within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods. Please note the length of time for the refund to be received into your account will depend on your card provider/banks clearing time. If payment was made by credit note then we will issue a replacement credit note.
